Introduction

The EUP3458 is a step-down DC-DC converter with a current-mode pulse width modulation (PWM) architecture, which can provide a load current of 1.2A with good line regulation and load regulation. EUP3458 can work stably in a wide input voltage range of 4.5V~30V, and can achieve an output voltage of 0.8V~15V through external voltage divider adjustment.

EUP3458 has protection mechanisms such as periodic peak current limit and over-temperature to ensure the safety of chip operation. The quiescent current of the chip in shutdown mode can be as low as 1μA. The internal soft-start function can well suppress the inrush current and the overshoot of the output voltage.

EUP3458 adopts SOT23-6 and TSOT23-6 packages, and realizes the converter function through a small number of standard peripheral devices, which effectively saves the application space.
