The TLC27M2 and TLC27M7 dual op amps combine a wide range of input bias voltage levels with low bias voltage drift, high input impedance, low noise, and speed approaching general-purpose bipolar devices. These devices utilize Texas Instruments silicon-gate LinCMOS technology, which provides bias voltage stability far exceeding that of traditional metal-gate processes.

Extremely high input impedance, low bias current, and high spin rates make these cost-effective devices ideal for applications previously only available in general-purpose bipolar products, but at a fraction of the power consumption. There are four bias voltage levels (C-suffix and I-suffix types), from the low-cost TLC27M2 (10 MV) to the high-precision TLC27M7 (500 V). These advantages, combined with good common-mode rejection and supply voltage rejection, make these devices a good choice for new advanced designs as well as upgrades to existing designs.

In general, many of the features associated with bipolar technology can be used on LinCMOS op amps without the power penalty of bipolar technology. General applications such as transducer interfacing, analog computing, amplifier blocks, active filters, and signal buffering are easy to design with the TLC27M2 and TLC27M7. These devices also exhibit low-voltage single-supply operation, making them ideal for remote and inaccessible battery-powered applications. Common Mode Input Voltage Range Including Negative Rail

A wide variety of packaging options are available, including small form factor and chip carrier versions for high-density system applications.

The input and output of this device are designed to withstand -100mA surge current without remaining latched.

The TLC27M2 and TLC27M7 contain internal ESD protection circuits that protect against functional failure at voltages up to 2000 V, as tested by MIL-STD-883C, Method 3015.2; however, care should be taken when handling these devices due to exposure to ESD may result in degradation of device parameter performance.

C-suffix devices operate between 0°C to 70°C, I-suffix devices operate between -40°C to 85°C, and M-suffix devices operate over the military temperature range of -55°C to 125°C work inside.
