The DRV 8812 provides an integrated motor drive solution for printers, scanners and other automation equipment applications. The device has two H-bridge drivers that can drive bipolar stepper motors or two DC motors. Each output driver block consists of an N-channel power MOSFET configured as a full H-bridge to drive the motor windings. The DRV 8812 can drive up to 1.6A of output current (with proper heat dissipation at 24 V and 25°C).

A simple parallel digital control interface is compatible with industry standard equipment. Attenuation modes are programmable.

An internal shutdown function provides overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, undervoltage lockout and overtemperature.

The DRV 8812 is available in a 28-pin HTSSOP package with PowerPAD™ and a 28-pin QFN package with PowerPAD™ (eco-friendly: RoHS & NOSB/BR).
