The TPS4000x are controllers for low-voltage, non-isolated synchronous buck regulators. These controllers drive N-channel MOSFETs for the main buck switching and N-channel MOSFETs for the synchronous rectification switching, enabling very high-efficiency power conversion. In addition, the device controls the delay from the main switch to the rectifier switch and from the rectifier switch to the main switch to minimize diode losses (including turn-on and recovery) in synchronous rectifiers using TI's proprietary Predictive Gate Drive™ technology ).
