The TLV62565/6 devices are synchronous buck converters optimized for small solution size and high efficiency. The device integrates switches capable of delivering up to 1.5A of output current.

The device operates based on adaptive on-time with a valley current mode control system configuration. Typical operating frequency at moderate or heavy loads is 1.5MHz. The device is optimized for extremely low output voltage ripple even when using small external components, and features an excellent load transient response.

During light loads, the TLV62565/6 automatically enters power saving mode at the lowest quiescent current (50μA typical) to maintain high efficiency over the entire load current range. In shutdown, current consumption is reduced to less than 1µA.

The TLV62565/6 provide an adjustable output voltage through an external resistor divider. The output voltage start-up ramp is controlled by an internal soft-start, typically 250µs. Power sequencing is also possible by configuring the enable (TLV62565) and power good (TLV62566) pins. Other features such as overcurrent protection and thermal protection are built-in. The TLV62565/6 devices are available in a 5-lead SOT-23 package.
