Product Details
Product details
The TLC 2262 and TLC 2264 are dual quadruple op amps from Texas Instruments. Both devices exhibit rail-to-rail output performance for increased dynamic range, in single or split supply applications. The TLC226x family offers a compromise between the AC performance of the micropower TLC225x and TLC227x. It's battery powered with low current, but still has adequate AC performance for applications that require it. Noise performance has been greatly improved compared to previous generations of CMOS amplifiers. Figure 1 depicts the low-noise voltage of this CMOS amplifier with only 200 UA(Typ) supply current per amplifier.
With high input impedance and low noise, the TLC226x is good for small signal conditioning of high impedance sources such as piezoelectric transducers. Due to the micro-power level, these devices work well in handheld monitoring and remote sensing applications. Additionally, the rail-to-rail output features, single or split supply, make this family a good choice when paired with an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) . For precision applications, the TLC226xA family is available with a maximum input bias voltage of 950 UV. This family is characterized by 5V and ±5V.
The TLC 2262/4 also greatly upgrades the TLC27M2/L4 or TS27M2/L4 in standard design. They provide greater output dynamic range, lower noise voltage and lower input bias voltage. This enhanced feature set allows them to be used in a wider range of applications. For applications requiring higher output drivers and wider input voltage ranges, see TLV 2432 and TLV 2442. If your design requires a single amplifier, see the TLV 2211/21/31 series. These devices are single rail-to-rail op amps in a SOT-23 package. Small size and low power consumption make them ideal for high density, battery powered devices.
