The REF30xx is a family of precision, low power, low dropout voltage references in a tiny 3-pin SOT-23 package. The REF30xx offers excellent temperature drift and initial accuracy with a quiescent current of 42µA (typ).
Low power consumption and relatively high accuracy make the REF30xx ideal for loop-powered industrial applications, such as pressure and temperature transmitter applications, where low power consumption is a key issue. The REF30xx is very convenient to use in intrinsically safe and explosion-proof applications as it is stable without the need for load capacitors. The REF30xx is rated for an industrial temperature range of –40°C to +125°C.
Under zero load conditions, the REF30xx is powered by a supply with a 1mV output voltage range. Engineers can take advantage of the low dropout, small size, and low power consumption of the REF30xx family of devices in portable and battery-powered applications.
