The new Xilinx UltraScale product family uses the UltraScale architecture and TSMC's (TSMC) ultra-high gate-density 20SoC process technology to further expand the market-leading Kintex®, Virtex® FPGA and 3D IC product families. Compared with currently available solutions, UltraScale devices improve system performance and integration by 1.5 to 2 times, and reduce power consumption by more than 50%. These devices offer next-generation routing schemes, ASIC-like clocking capabilities, and logic and architectural enhancements that not only eliminate interconnect bottlenecks, but also ensure stable device utilization rates of over 90 percent without sacrificing performance.
