Maxim MAXREFDES37 IO-Link™ Servo Drive Reference Design
The Maxim MAXREFDES37 IO-Link™ Servo Drive Reference Design features 5V power, four PWM outputs, and four digital inputs. They enable control of up to four 5V servo motors. IO-Link replaces pneumatic actuators and their compressed air lines. With additional level shifting, the digital outputs can be connected to binary position or status sensors. The design includes an on-board, standard 3-pin header for quick connection to a finished 5V servo motor. The MAXREFDES37 is equipped with a HiTec HS-53 servo motor. Push-in terminal blocks allow simple connections to 5V digital inputs, power, ground, and access to all four PWM channels. The onboard M12-4 male connector allows standard connection to any compatible IO-Link host.
