IRU431AL - Low Voltage Adjustable Precision Shunt Regulator

DESCRIPTION The IRU431L family has three-terminal adjustable shunts that can also be used for precision voltage regulator references. Its output voltage can be set to any value between VREF (1.24V) and 15V with two external resistors as shown in the typical application circuit. Other applications for this device include being used as a reference for merging amplifiers and applications such as linear regulators or secondary side controllers for low voltage power supply applications. The only IRU431L requires a maximum quiescent current of 80mA before regulation, making it ideal for battery voltage reference type applications. The IRU431L has an initial accuracy of 61% while the IRU431AL provides an initial accuracy of 60.5%.
