IP431ACD - Voltage Reference

Description The circuit is a monolithic IP431A three-terminal programmable shunt Zener diode. The voltage used as the low voltage reference is the temperature coefficient zener which is programmable between VREF (2.5V) and 36 volts using two external resistors. The device has a wide operating range from 1 mA to 100 mA with a typical dynamic impedance of 0.2 watts. Active output circuits provide a very sharp turn-on. These characteristics make excellent device replacements in many Zener diode applications. As a shunt regulator it can be used as either a positive or negative voltage reference. ...
