MAX6520-50ppm/ΣC, SOT23, three-terminal, 1.2V voltage reference

The MAX6520 is described as a minimum power 1.2V, precision, three-terminal voltage reference, available in the SOT23-3 package. Ideal for 3V battery-powered devices where power protection is key, the MAX6520 is a low-power alternative to existing two-terminal parallel references. Unlike the two-terminal throw reference away from the battery current, which requires an external series resistor, the MAX6520 has a maximum supply current of 70µA (typically only 50µA) and is independent of the input voltage. This feature translates into maximum benefit at all battery voltages. The MAX6520 operates from supply voltages as low as 2.4V and has an initial accuracy of ±1% in a SOT23 package. The temperature coefficient of the output voltage is generally only 25ppm/°C, and is guaranteed to be less than 50ppm/°C in the SOT2​​3 package.
