MAX872 - Low Dropout, Precision Voltage Reference
General Description The accurate 2.5V and 4.096V MAX872/MAX874 microvoltage references consume a maximum of 10µA of supply voltage and operate up to 20V. This combination of ultra-low quiescent current and low 200mV dropout makes them ideal for battery-powered devices. Their sources and sinks are only up to 500µA with a 200mV input voltage headroom, which makes the 2.5V MAX872 ideal for use with a 3V supply and the 4.096V MAX874 ideal for use with a 5V supply. Initial accuracy at 25°C (±5mV for the MAX8720.2%, for the MAX874 ±8mV) and low 40ppm/°C maximum drift make these references suitable for a wide range of accuracy applications.
