Description The FSDL0165RN is a specially designed high-performance off-line switching power supply (SMPS) with integrated pulse width modulator (PWM) and detection FET with minimal external components. This device is an integrated high voltage power switching regulator combined with a rugged sense FET control block for avalanche and current mode PWM. Features of the integrated PWM controller include: fixed frequency modulated oscillator to reduce EMI, low voltage lockout (UVLO) protection, leading edge blanking (LEB), optimized gate turn-on/turnoff driver, thermal shutdown (TSD) protection, abnormal over- Current Protection (AOCP) and Temperature Compensated Precision Current Source Loop Compensation and Fault Protection Circuitry. Compared to discrete MOSFET and controller or RCC switching converter solutions, the FSDL0165RN reduces overall component count, design size, weight, and at the same time increases efficiency, productivity and system reliability. This device is a basic platform well suited for cost-effective design of flyback converters.
