Description The FSCM0565R is an integrated Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) and FET specifically designed to sense high performance off-line switching power supplies (SMPS) with minimal external components. This device is an integrated high voltage switching power regulator combined with the current Avalanche Rugged Awareness FET mode PWM control block. The PWM controller contains an integrated fixed frequency oscillator, undervoltage lockout, leading edge blanking (LEB), optimized gate driver, internal soft starter, temperature compensated precision current source primary compensation and self-protection circuitry. Compared to discrete MOSFET and PWM controller solutions, it can reduce overall cost, component count, size and weight while increasing efficiency, productivity and system reliability. This unit is a basic platform ideal for cost-effective design of flyback converters.
