circuit description
The TDA16831-4 is a CoolMOS transistor with integrated current mode pulse width modulator. It is suitable for applications requiring minimal externally controlled flyback circuits. Current mode control refers to passing current through the MOS transistor compared to the reference voltage signal applied from the flyback output voltage. The result of this comparison determines the MOS transistor over time. In order to reduce the significant resistance of the external circuit, the information MOS current is integrated. Oscillator resistors and capacitors that determine the switching frequency are integrated. Special efforts have been made to compensate for the temperature dependence and to minimize this resistance tolerance.
