The FCT162244T 16-bit buffer/line driver is suitable for bus interface or signal buffering where high speed and low power consumption are required. These through-pin devices have an organizational process that simplifies and shrink wraps the board layout. All inputs are designed with hysteresis for improved noise tolerance. Tri-state control allows independent 4-bit, 8-bit or combined 16-bit operation. The FCT162244T has balanced output current levels and current limiting resistors. These feature low ground bounce, minimum overshoot and controlled output fall time, which reduces the need for external series resistors while terminating and also provides very high speed operation for loads less than 200pF.
