LTC1154 - High-Side MOSFET Driver Micro

DESCRIPTION A single LTC1154 high-side gate driver allows high-side switching applications using low-cost N-channel FETs. An internal charge pump boosts the gate drive voltage above the active rail, fully boosting an N-channel MOS switch without external components. Micro-operation, the standby current is 8mA, and with the operating current up to 85mA, almost all systems allow the maximum use efficiency. The chip also contains programmable overcurrent detection. A time delay can be added to prevent false triggering of high inrush current loads. An active high shutdown input also provides direct and interface thermal shutdown with standard PTC thermistors. The open-drain output reports the MP provided by the switch status. The active low enable input can control multiple switches in the bank. The LTC1154 is available in 8-pin DIP and 8-pin SOIC packages.
