Si9976-N-Channel Half-Bridge Driver
DESCRIPTION The Si9976DY is an N-channel integrated driver MOSFET half bridge. Schmitt trigger inputs provide logic signal compatibility and hysteresis for increased immunity to noise. An internal low-voltage regulator allows the device to power the system from 20 to 40 V, directly supplying two half-bridge N-channel gates to directly drive the low-impedance output. An additional external capacitor allows both levels of power supply to the internal circuitry... and logic signals to the high-side N-channel gate driver of the half-bridge. An internal charge pump replaces leakage current losses in the high-side driver circuit to provide "quiescent" (DC) operation at any output condition. Protection features include an under-voltage lockout, cross-conduction prevention logic, and short-circuit display. The Si9976DY is available in a 14-pin SOIC (surface mount) package and is specified for operation over the industrial (-40 to 85°C) temperature range. ...
