PC33887VW-5.0 is loaded with H-bridge current feedback
The 33887 is a monolithic H-bridge power IC with load current feedback function ideal for closed loop DC motor control. The IC integrates internal control logic, charge pump, gate driver, low RDS(ON) MOSFET output circuit. The 33887 is able to control continuous inductive loads with DC load currents up to 5.0 A, and positive outputs with peak current limits between 5.2 and 7.8 A. Load pulse width modulation (PWM-ED) at frequencies up to 10 kHz. The load current feedback function provides a proportional (1/375th of the load current) constant current output suitable for monitoring by a microcontroller? ? A/D input. This feature facilitates the design of closed-loop torque/speed control and open-circuit load detection. The fault status output reports undervoltage, short circuit, and overtemperature conditions. Two independent inputs provide polarity control for the two half-bridge totem pole outputs. Two H-bridge outputs tri-stated (with high impedance) to disable input power. The parameterized 33887 is over a specified temperature range ≤-40°C ≤125°C TA and a 5.0 V voltage range ≤+≤28 V. The IC can also operate up to 40 V with specification degradation.
