MPIC2130-3 Phase Bridge Driver
The MPIC2130 is a high-voltage, high-speed, power MOSFET and IGBT driver for three independent high-side and low-side referenced output channels for 3-phase applications. Proprietary HVIC technology enables robust monolithic construction. Logic inputs are compatible with 5 V CMOS or LSTTL outputs. A ground referenced op amp provides an analog feedback bridge current through an external current sense resistor. This access to a function terminates all six outputs, also from this resistor. An open-drain fault signal indicates that an overcurrent or undervoltage shutdown has occurred. The output driver has a high pulse current buffer stage designed for minimum driver transconductance. Propagation delay matching simplifies use in high frequency applications. The floating channel can be used to drive N-channel power MOSFETs or IGBTs in mid-to-high-side configurations from 10 to 600 volts.
• Bootstrap designed for floating channel operation • Fully operational, +600 V
• Negative transient voltage tolerance • dV/dt immunity • Gate drive supply range from 10 to 20 V
• Under-voltage lockout on all channels • Over-current shutdown shuts down all six drivers • Independent half-bridge drivers • Matched propagation delay on all channels • Output in phase with input
