Description The SN754410 is a quad high current half-H driver, designed to provide bidirectional drive at voltage currents up to 1 A from 4.5 V to 36 V. The device is designed to drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and dual Pole stepper motors, and other high-current/high-voltage loads in positive supply applications. All inputs are compatible with TTL and low-level CMOS logic. Each output (Y) is a full totem pole driver Darlington transistor and a receiver and pseudo Darlington source. Drivers enable drivers 1 and 2 enable 1,2 en and drivers 3 and 3,4 en enable 4. When the enable input is high, the associated drivers are enabled and their outputs become active and phase with their inputs. When the enable input is low, those drivers are disabled and their outputs are turned off in a high impedance state. With the right data input, each driver pair forms a complete H (or bridge) reversible solenoid valve or ideal for motor driven applications.
A separate supply voltage (VCC1) is provided for the logic circuit's input devices to reduce power consumption.
The supply voltage at Vcc2 is used for the output circuit. The SN754410 is designed for operation from -40°C to 85°C
