SI9912 - MOSFET driver for half-bridge switching power supply
The Si9912 is described as a dual MOSFET high-speed driver before breaking down. It is designed to work in high frequency DC-DC switching power supplies. The high-side driver is bootstrapped to handle the high slew rates associated with "floating" high-side gate drivers. Propogation delay of 60-ns switch and 25-ns transition time for 3000 pF load per driver. The Si9912 is equipped with an internal break-before-before function to prevent shoot-through current to the external MOSFET. The shutdown pin is used to enable the driver. When disabled, the driver's quiescent current A: Less than 5 The Si9912 is available in standard and lead-free (Pb), free 8-pin SOIC packages, operating in the industrial range (BiC to 85°C).
