TC4421-9A High Speed MOSFET Driver
Overview The TC4421/4422 high current buffer/drivers are capable of driving high power MOSFETs and IGBTs. They are essentially immune to damage of any kind except for direct overvoltage or overdissipation - they cannot be locked at their power and rated voltage under any circumstances, and they are immune to damage or improper operation in the presence of up to 5V bouncing on ground Ground terminal devices they can accept without any logic damage or destruction, induced currents greater than 1A of any polarity are forced back to their outputs. Additionally, all terminals are fully protected from electrostatic discharges up to 4 kV. The TC4421/4422 inputs can be driven directly from TTL or CMOS (3V to 18V). Additionally, 300 mV of hysteresis is built into the input, providing noise immunity and allowing the device to move from slowly rising or driving to falling waveforms.
