describe
The UC1710 family of FET drivers is used to interface between low-level control functions and extremely high power switching devices, especially power MOSFETs, with a high-speed Schottky process. These devices accept a low current digital input to activate a high current, totem pole output, energy or sink to a minimum level of 6A. The supply voltages for VIN and VC can range independently from 4.7V to 18V. These devices also feature undervoltage hysteresis lockout. The UC1710 is available in an 8-pin hermetic dual in-line package for -55°C to +125°C operation. The UC2710 and UC3710 are specified over the -40°C temperature range to 85°C and 0°C to +70°C respectively and are available in either an 8-pin plastic dual-in-line or 5-pin TO-220 package . Surface mount devices are also available.
