REF200 - Dual Current Source/Current Source

The REF200 construction is described by combining two 100mA current sources and current mirrors in a short-circuit block on a single chip. These sections are medium isolated, making them completely independent. Furthermore, as current sources are twoterminal devices, they can also be used as current sinks. The performance of each section is individually measured and laser trimmed to achieve high accuracy and low cost. The segment can be pin-to-pin current short of 50mA, 100mA, 200mA, 300mA or 400mA. External circuits can be used to draw almost any current. These and many other circuit techniques are listed in the application section of this data sheet. The REF200 in plastic is available in small 8-pin DIP and SOIC packages.
