Introduction The UT54LVDS031 Quad Driver is a quad CMOS differential line driver designed for applications requiring ultra-low power consumption and high data rates. The device is designed to support data transfer rates over 155.5 Mbps (77.7 MHz) using Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) technology. The UT54LVDS031 accepts TTL input levels and translates them to low voltage (340mV) differential output signals. In addition, the driver supports a tri-state function that uses a disabled output stage to disable load current, thereby removing the ultra-low power state in which the device is idle. The UT54LVDS032 high power and companion UT54LVDS031 quad-wire receiver provides new alternatives for high-speed point-to-point interface pseudo-ECL device applications.
