LMS5213-80mA, uCap, Low Dropout Regulator with SC70
The LMS5213 is a μCap, low dropout regulator with very low quiescent current, 220μA typical, at 80mA load. It also has a very low dropout voltage, typically 20mV at light loads and 330mV at 80mA. The LMS5213 provides up to 80mA of current consumption typical of 1µA in shutdown mode. The LMS5213 is optimized with low value, low cost ceramic capacitors. The output typically requires only 0.47µF of output capacitance for stability. Enable pins can be connected to VIN for easy device placement. The LMS5213 is designed for portable, battery powered device applications with small space requirements. The LMS5213 is available in the space saving 5-pin SC70 package. Performance is specified over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range and is available in fixed voltages of 2.8V, 3.0V and 3.3V. For other output voltage options, please contact National Semiconductor.
