TC1265-800mA Fixed Output CMOS LDO with Shutdown
illustrate
The TC1265 is a fixed output, high accuracy (±0.5% typical) CMOS low dropout regulator. Designed for battery powered systems, the CMOS structure of the TC1265 eliminates wasted ground current and significantly extends battery life. The total supply current is typically at full load (20 to 60 times lower than the 80µA bipolar regulator). Key features of the TC1265 include ultra-low noise operation, very low dropout voltage (typically 450mV at full load) and fast response to enhance load changes. The TC1265 employs two types of overheating and overcurrent protection. The TC1265 is regulated with only 1µF output capacitance and a maximum output current of 800 mA. It is available in 8-lead SOIC, 5-lead TO-220 and 5-lead DDPAK packages.
