C2012X5R1A225M-60mA Regulated Charge Pump Voltage Inverter

The TPS6040x is a family of devices that produce an unregulated negative output voltage from an input voltage range of 1.6 V to 5.5 V. The device typically provides 5 V or 3.3 V due to a preregulated supply rail with a wide input voltage range, two or three NiCd , NiMH or alkaline batteries, and a lithium-ion battery powered. Only three external 1µF capacitors are required to build a complete charge pump DC/DC inverter. Assembled in a 5-pin SOT23 package, the complete converter can be built on a 50mm2 board area. The additional board area reduces the number of components by replacing the Schottky diodes that are normally required to start the load into an integrated circuit. The TPS6040x is capable of over 90% with a typical conversion efficiency, a maximum output current of 60mA over a wide output current range. 3 frequency operation with 20 kHz, 50 kHz, 250 kHz fixed device options.
