LTC1043-Double Precision Intrumentation Switched Capacitor Building Block A

The LTC®2436-1 is a 2-channel differential input micropower 16-bit delay-free DSTM analog-to-digital converter with an integrated oscillator. It provides 0.5LSBINL and 800nV RMS noise independent VREF. The two differential channels, one channel alternate conversion identification is included in the conversion result. It uses delta-sigma technology and provides a single conversion solved digital filter. Through a single pin, the LTC2436-1 can be configured with better than 87dB input differential mode rejection of ±2% at 50Hz and 60Hz, or can be rejected by an external oscillator for a user-defined frequency. The internal oscillator requires no external frequency setting components. The converter can accept any external differential reference in a flexible ratiometric voltage configuration from 0.1V to VCC telemetry. The differential input range at full scale is from - to 0.5•0.5•ÊVREFVREF. The reference common-mode voltage, VREFCM, and the input common-mode voltage, VINCM, can be independently set anywhere between GND and VCC. DC common mode input rejection is better than 140dB. The LTC2436-1 communicates via a flexible 3-wire digital interface with the SPI-compatible MICROWIRETM protocol.
