The LTC®1263 is a regulated 12V, 60mA output DC/DC converter. It provides 12V±5% output necessary to program double-byte all-flash memory. The output provides 60mA from an input voltage as low as 4.75V without using any inductor. Only 4 external capacitors are needed to complete a very small, surface mount circuit. The output can be instantaneously shorted to ground without damage to the part. Active high TTL compatible shutdown pin for direct connection to microprocessor. In shutdown mode, the supply current typically drops to 0.5mA.
