The AD5160 provides a compact 2.9mm x 3mm, packaged solution for 256-bit tuning applications. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment functions as mechanical potentiometers or variable resistors, with enhanced resolution, solid-state reliability and excellent low temperature coefficient performance. The wiper settings are controllable via an SPI-compatible digital interface. A digital code for an RDAC latch tuned to a linear change in resistance between the fixed resistance wiper and either endpoint. Supply from 2.7 V to 5.5 V and consume less than 5µA, allowing use in portable battery powered applications.
