The mPC8112TB is a silicon monolithic integrated circuit, the first frequency downconverter designed for the cellular/cordless phone reception stage. The IC consists of mixers and local amplifiers. The mPC8112TB features a high impedance open collector output. ICs like the mPC2757TB and mPC2758TB offer low impedance emitter follower outputs. These TB suffix & wafers, smaller in size than traditional T suffix IC packages help reduce the size of your system. The mPC8112TB is fabricated using NEC's 20 GHz FT NESAT™ III silicon bipolar process. This process uses a silicon nitride passivation film and gold electrodes. These materials can protect the chip surface from external contamination against corrosion/migration. Therefore, the IC has excellent performance, uniformity and reliability.
Applications • 1.5 to 1.9 GHz cellular/cordless phones (PHS, DECT, PDC1.5G, etc.)
• 800 to 900 MHz cellular phones (PDC800M, etc.)...
