X9261UV24-Single Power/Low Power/256-Tap/SPI Bus
X9261 integrated digital control of 2
Monolithic CMOS Potentiometer (XDCP) integrated circuit. Implement digitally controlled potentiometers using array resistor elements in the 255 series. The tap point between each element is connected to the wiper terminal through the switch. The status of the wipers on the array is controlled by the user through the SPI bus interface. Each potentiometer has associated with it a volatile wiper counter register (WR) and four non-volatile data registers that can be directly written and read by the user. The contents of the WR control resistor on the wiper position though switch array. Power-up recalls the contents of the default data register (DR0) WR. XDCP can be used as a three-terminal potentiometer or two-terminal variable resistor in a wide range of applications including control, parameter adjustment and signal processing.
Features • Dual two independent potentiometers • 256 resistors Taps/pot-0.4% resolution • SPI serial interface to write, read and transfer potentials for single-supply operated devices • Wiper resistor 100Ω typical @ VCC=5V
• 4 non-volatile data for each registered potentiometer • Multi-tap non-volatile storage • Power-up recall loads the saved wiper position on power-up.
• Standby current <5µA max • 50KΩ, 100KΩ end-to-end resistance for high-end versions • 100 years. Data retention time • Endurance: 100,000 data changes per bit, per register • 24-pin SOIC, 24-pin TSSOP
