CS4101 - Precision Hollow Tucker/SPEEDO Driver with Separate Function Generator Inputs
CS4101 is specially used for hollow core meter movement. This IC provides all functions necessary for an analog tachometer or odometer. The CS4101 takes the input of a speed sensor and produces a sine and cosine related output signal to differentially drive the meter hollow core. Many enhancements have been added over industry standards such as the tachometer driver CS-289 or LM1819. The output utilizes a differential driver, thereby eliminating It requires a Zener reference and provides greater torque. The device withstands this 60V transient reducing protection circuit requirements. The device is also more accurate than existing devices allowing the use of fewer trims and tachometers.
