IRMCK203 is a high performance digital motion control sensor AC permanent magnet motor application IC. Control is based on sinusoidal back-EMF motor closed-loop vector control. With the IRMCK203, users can easily build a high-performance sensor-driven system without any programming effort and with minimal startup time. Built-in unique start-up and ramp algorithms allow for a wide range of applications. This IC is versatile enough that the user can configure and optimize the performance of the system according to the needs of each application. With International Rectifier's iMotion products, including high-voltage ICs such as the IR2175's current sensing IC and the IRAM family of smart IGBT modules combined with the IRMCK203, the end result is a fully optimized system with reduced electronic component count. This simplifies low-cost sensor design driver modules. The IRMCK203 can be easily adapted to various permanent magnet motors through the ServoDesignerTM tool, which is a fully configurable GUI tool.
