X9221AYSZ - 64 taps, 2-wire serial bus
The X9221A integrates two digitally controlled potentiometers (XDCP) in a monolithic CMOS integrated circuit microcircuit. Implement digitally controlled potentiometers using array resistor elements in the 63 series. Between each element is connected to the wiper's tap point terminal through the switch. The tap positions are controlled by the user through the 2-wire array bus interface. Each potentiometer is associated with an unstable wiper counter register (WR) and 2 non-volatile data registers (DR0:DR1), which can be directly written and read by the user. The contents of the WR control resistor on the wiper position through the switch array. Electric recall the contents of the DR0 to Nishitetsu. XDCP can be used as a three-terminal potentiometer or two-terminal variable resistor in a wide variety of applications, including control, parameter adjustment and signal processing.
