X9440-SPI interface and mixed signal...
The X9440 integrates two non-volatile digitally controlled potentiometers (XDCP) and two voltage comparators in a CMOS monolithic microcircuit. The X9440 contains two resistor arrays, each consisting of 63 resistor elements. A tap point wiper element accessed between each element and at either end. The wiper element position array is controlled by the user via the SPI serial bus interface. Each potentiometer has an associated voltage comparison. The external input voltage of the comparator taps the voltage mass VNI and sets the output voltage level to high or low logic. Each resistor array and compare has an associated wiper counter register (WR), analog control register (ACR), and eight 6-bit data registers that can be directly written and read by the user. The contents of the wiper counter register controls the position of the wipers on the resistor array. The content of the analog control register compares and its output. The potentiometer is serial interface with SPI programming.
