X9421WSI-Single Digital Control (XDCP) Potentiometer
The X9421 integrates a digitally controlled monolithic CMOS potentiometer (XDCP) integrated circuit. Implement digitally controlled potentiometers using array resistor elements in the 63 series. Between each element is connected to the wiper's tap point terminal through the switch. The wiper position array is controlled by the user via the SPI bus interface. Its associated potential volatile wiper counter register (WR) and four non-volatile data can be directly written to the register and read by the user. WR's content resistor array controls the tap position though the switch. Power-on recalls the contents of the default data register (DR0) WR. XDCP can be used as a three-terminal potentiometer or two-terminal variable resistor in a wide range of applications including control, parameter adjustment and signal processing.
