X9319UP8 - digitally controlled potential
Intersil's X9319 is a digitally controlled potentiometer (XDCP). The unit consists of a resistor array, wiper switch, control section and non-volatile memory. The wiper position is controlled by a three-wire interface. The potentiometer is made up of 99 resistive elements and a wiper switch network through a resistive array. Tap points for wiper access between each element and either end. “The position of the wiper element is controlled by the CS, U/D and INC inputs. The wiper position can be stored in non-volatile memory and then recalled during subsequent electrical operation. The device can be used as a three-terminal potential voltage control or As a 2-terminal variable resistor for current control in a variety of applications.
Applications • LCD bias control • DC bias adjustment • Gain and offset trimming • Laser diode bias control • Regulator output control
