DS1803 - Addressing Dual Digital Potentiometers

The DS1803's Addressable Dual Digital Potentiometer is an addressable device with two independent control potentiometers. The sliding end of each potentiometer can be set to 256 positions. Device control has a data I/O terminal and a clock input through a 2-wire serial interface. Device addressing is through three chip select inputs and the correct communication protocol. Addressability, when operating in a bus topology, allows up to 8 control device serial interfaces. The exact wiper position of each potentiometer can be read or written. The DS1803 is available in a 16-pin DIP, 16-pin SOIC and 14-pin TSSOP packages. The device is available in three standard resistance values ​​across industry temperatures: 10KW, 50KW, 100kW, and specified ranges.
