MAX5403-Dual 256-tap, low drift, digital potentiometer in 10-レMAX
The MAX5403/MAX5404/MAX5405 are a family of dual linear-tap digital potentiometers. Each device has a 3-terminal potentiometer and a 2-terminal variable resistor. The MAX5403/MAX5404/MAX5405 operate from a single +2.7 V to +5.5 V supply voltage using an ultra-low supply current of 0.1µA. These devices also offer glitch-free switching between resistive taps, as well as a midpoint position wiper setting for easy power-on-reset (POR) on power-up. The potentiometer consists of a fixed resistor that is digitally controlled via a 3-wire serial interface with wiper contacts and has 256 tap points. It performs the same function as a discrete potentiometer or variable resistor. These parts are ideal for applications requiring digitally controlled resistors. Three resistor values are available: 10KΩ (MAX5403), 50KΩ (MAX5404), and 100kΩ (MAX5405). A nominal resistance temperature coefficient of 35ppm/°C end-to-side and 5ppm/°C ratio makes the MAX5403/MAX5404/MAX5405 ideal for applications requiring low temperature coefficient variable resistors, adjustable gain circuit configurations, etc. The MAX5403/MAX5404/MAX5405 are available in a 10-pin μMAX package. Guaranteed over the extended industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) on each device.
