The IP1526A series of high-performance PWM circuits is a direct replacement for all IP1526 series performance improvements in several key areas of application and functionality. Functions include temperature compensated voltage reference, sawtooth oscillator, error amplifier, PWM comparator, pulse metering and control logic, and two low impedance power drivers. In addition, protection features such as soft-start, under-voltage lockout, digital current limit, double-pulse suppression, single-pulse measurement, adjustable dead time and input data latches that provide symmetry correction are included. For convenience, all digital interface control ports are TTL and CMOS compatible with Series 9. Low-level logic is designed to allow maximum flexibility, wired or connected. This versatile device can be used to implement single-ended or push-pull switching regulators with two polarities, two transformers and transformer coupling.
