IS0-705RH-Q-Radiation Hardened Power-Up/Down Microprocessor Reset Circuit

The hardened IS-705RH radiates in a monolithic device, monitors the supply voltage used by the satellite control unit, and provides a reset output pulse at power-up and power-down. "The reset threshold is 4.65V (typ) and the reset pulse width is set at 200ms (typ). The watchdog circuit is incorporated for easy interfacing with microprocessors and controllers. If the watchdog input has not been switched in the preset 1.6s (typ) to generate an output signal that can be used for an interrupt. The power function input (PFI) can be used to monitor other voltage levels. There is a 1.25V (typ) threshold in the circuit that provides A PFO output is detected when voltage is low. An active low manual reset input provides direct control of the reset function. Constructed with Intersil's UHF2X-CMOS process, these devices have been specifically designed to provide high performance and reliability in harsh radiation environments This process has been tested, single-event latch-up and has demonstrated immunity to 90MeV/mg/cm2.
