MC33023 - High-speed single-ended PWM controller

The MC34023 family of high-speed, fixed-frequency, single-ended PWM controllers are optimized for high-frequency operation. They are designed for designers of off-line and DC-DC converter applications to provide a cost-effective solution with minimal external components. These ICs feature oscillators, temperature compensated references, a high bandwidth error amplifier, high speed current sense comparators, and high current totem pole outputs ideal for driving power MOSFETs. Additionally, protection features are included including input and reference undervoltage lockout with hysteresis, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and latching for single-pulse metering. The flexibility of this series allows it to be easily configured for either current mode or voltage mode control.
