MIC2776 - Micropower Low Voltage Supervisor
The MIC2776 is a small 5-pin SOT package which provides a power supply supervisor in a low-voltage monitoring and power-on-reset generation. Features include an adjustable brownout detector, delay generator, manual reset input, and selectable high, active-active-low, or open-drain active-low active-low reset output. The user-adjustable monitor input is compared to a 300mV reference. This low reference voltage allows support for low voltage monitoring by previous monitoring ICs. The reset output is valid for no less than 140ms during poweron execution and any time the input voltage is lower than the reference voltage. remains valid after the timeout period following the rising boundary of the input voltage above the threshold. Reset, a manual reset input can be generated at any time by asserting, /speech. The reset output will remain on for at least 140ms after releasing /MR. The /MR input can also be used to daisy-chain the MIC2776 to existing power monitoring circuits or other regulators. Hysteresis is included to prevent buzzing due to noise. Typical supply current is a low 3.0µA.
