MC33160 - Microprocessor Voltage Regulator/Voltage Monitoring Circuit
The MC34160 series of voltage regulators and supervisory circuits contain many of the functions necessary to monitor the functions required by a microprocessor-based system. It is designed for appliance and industrial applications, offering designers a cost-effective solution with minimal external components. These ICs feature shorted 5.0 V/100 mA regulator current limit, pinned 2.6 V bandgap reference, low voltage reset programmable hysteresis comparator, power warning comparator, and uncommitted comparator ideal for microprocessor line synchronization . Other features include an on-chip disable low standby current input, and internal thermal shutdown, over temperature protection. These devices contain a 16-pin dual-row thermal label in a plastic package to improve thermal conductivity.
