MAX6326 - 3-pin ultra-low power SC70/SOT, microprocessor reset circuit
The MAX6326/MAX6327//MAX6328/MAX6346/MAX6347/MAX6348 microprocessor reset circuit (MP) monitors the MP power supply in digital systems. These devices eliminate external components and adjustments, while providing excellent circuit reliability and a low-cost solution. They are used to monitor 2.5V, 3V, 3.3V and 5V power supplies. They assert that the reset threshold voltage is preset when the supply voltage VDD is below the reset signal. The reset signal is still asserted for at least 100 ms after VDD rises above the reset threshold. "The reset threshold is factory trimmed from 2.2 V to 4.63 V in approximately 100 mV increments. All of these parts are guaranteed to assert a VDD down to 1 V, and they have excellent immunity to reset fast transients on VDD. Devices vary in output configuration. "The MAX6326/MAX6346 have a push-pull, active-low reset output; while the MAX6328/MAX6348 have an open-drain, active-low reset output. The MAX6327/MAX6347 have push-pull, active-high reset outputs. The lower threshold MAX6326/MAX6327/MAX6328 are ultra-low and they are ideal for battery-powered applications typically with a supply current of 0.5 mA. All six devices are available in 3-pin SOT23 and SC70 packages.
