UC17131L-Single Peripheral Driver
UC37131, UC37132 and UC37133 are a family of smart power switches that can drive resistive or inductive loads or high-low. The UC37132 is available in a 14-pin (DIP), 16-pin package (SOIC), or 20-pin (CLCC) package and can accommodate low-side (loaded to VCC) or high-side (loaded to GND) configurations. The UC37131 and UC37133 are exclusively available in a low or high configuration respectively and both are available in an 8-pin package. Both high-side and low-side configurations provide high current switching with low saturation voltages that can drive resistive or inductive loads. is input by a low voltage signal, usually 5V switch. In addition, the UC37132 features adjustable hysteresis. The device's output switches between 8V and 65V for loads. The output current capability is 300mA continuous or 700mA peak. The device also has inherent programmable intelligence that enables a turn-on delay to enable the output to start following up. The same capacitor-specified turn-on delay can also be used to program the VCC power interruption time. If VCC falls below the threshold, for the time specified by this capacitor, the output turns off and delays a new transition that will retrigger. Likewise, if the sustained high current is longer than the response delay, the output driver will run in a very low duty cycle mode to protect the IC.
